Dear colleagues,

Roger Rees from the University of Surrey will lead an exciting webinar on Tuesday the 25th of November, 12-1pm GMT* during which we will discuss “Reframing discussions about technology enhanced learning”. We hope you will be able to join us.
Discussions about the impact that technology can have on learning and teaching contexts are normally limited in a number of ways and tend to become split into overly pessimistic or optimistic viewpoints. They are also often undermined by a drift toward technological determinism. This contribution will suggest alternative perspectives that allow a more complex view of the relationships. These ecological or systemic perspectives will be used to suggest the potential for the adoption of technology to support developments that are transformative and integrative.

If you are not planning to speak you will just need headphones to listen to the discussion.
