We invite you to join us in the MMU Sustainable Futures Fair!
Happening at the Union, on 4 March 2015, you can expect a day full of energetic and thought-provoking activities. The fair will be diverse and interactive with stands and discussion tables led by the people around you!
Activities on the day will include live food demos, free food samples, sign-up for interesting volunteer opportunities, interactive stands like Carbon Literacy Project with their Carbon Emission Balloon game, and staff and students displaying their current projects related to sustainability. (See below for a list of stands)
Summary of Event:
Sustainable Futures Fair is an event organised as a part of the CLIMATE WEEK and NUS RESPONSIBLE FUTURES project at Manchester Metropolitan University. It will display works of staff, students and alumni who have sustainability embedded in their work or coursework in an engaging way!
Discussions Tables: a set of tables in the middle of the fair, where anyone can have 15-30 minutes session with PhD students/ staff of MMU etc. on a variety of subjects ranging from further studies in sustainability to discussion on your current projects etc. Students and Staff are welcome to share topics they would like to discuss and even lead them!

There are different ways you can contribute:
• Have a stand showcasing a project/idea you and/or your students have related to sustainability. This space can be used to display projects/coursework/business products.
• Be a part of the discussion tables. Here you can choose/lead a topic discussion and have a bookable session for others to be a part of knowledge sharing. There will be open topic sessions as well. (Perfect for PhD students and staff to engage in)
• Attend the fair!
Remember this fair is being held to encourage sustainability and applaud the work already being done on the notion. So, we need your contribution and expertise to make this event a success!

M:ACF Tell Us Event:
Successfully held previously, M:ACF Tell Us event is being held at MMU as a part of Climate Week. This event is an opportunity to share key ideas and showcase “green” projects with an interesting panel and a diverse audience consisting internal and external bodies.
