As you probably know, we normally run an annual conference in the summer term which focuses on learning and teaching at MMU. This year, we’re taking a slightly different approach, and we’re planning a more distributed conference over the month of June. The Festival will give all MMU staff an opportunity to share their own good practice, find out more about interesting approaches and resources used at MMU and in other institutions and to collaborate with colleagues both at MMU and internationally. In addition, we are linking the Festival to an exciting collaboration with our CARPE partners: a summer school for staff who’d like to find out more about joint teaching and research across the CARPE network.
There will be several events offered each week during June, at both the All Saints and Crewe campuses. We will be releasing more information soon, but in the meantime we’d like to open the call for contributions and would like to encourage you to contribute to the Festival. Please visit the Festival website at to submit a contribution or to suggest something you’d like to see included. Deadline for proposals is 15 March 2016.
